Cavs ml- ( My pick is Cavs -2 )
There is a big difference in both of these teams. I am sure that you have figured this out. However there are some that haven’t. The difference is the what has became known as ” The Killer Instinct”. Something that Golden State does not posses. Why do I say this? Cavs are without 2 star players and still finding a way to win. If Golden State was without Curry or Thompson do you think the Cavs would lose to them? Absolutely not! LeBron would see that weakness and exploit it. Golden State has not been able to do that. Why? Because the BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER IN THE WORLD refuses to show signs of any weakness! Players are coming off the bench that haven’t seen play in months. Golden State lacks the coaching and leadership that it takes to beat this team in a series of 7. Even with the advantage of having a deeper bench with all their starters. When you develop the, “Killer Instinct” you take what you have and you win with it by any means. There have only been 3 players that I have seen with this ability. Here they are listed.
1. Jordan- He took players who would have otherwise never won a ring in the NBA and MADE them play. It takes a leader to do what he did. 6 rings and 6 Final mvp’s.
2. Kobe – From 08-2010 Kobe was in the Finals 3 times with a team of misfits. He lost the 1st and won the next 2. Defeating Boston and the “Big 3″ and a young Orlando with a healthy Dwight Howard. Kobe refused to lose. He demanded 110% from his teammates at all time. Kobe also made everyone around him play better. When it was time to take the game over, he did that.
3. Lebron- He has qualities from both players above. Mixed with the upmost respect from teammates, this guy has the formula to win against all odds. His motto is ” give me your all 110% of the time.” He finds ways to win because he studies the game and his opponents. This is why he is called the GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER IN THE WORLD.
Good call on the Cavs……Good luck to everyone today!
Thanks as always Jim
