Draft Day! Will Cleveland Make A Very Big Mistake?

Well sports fans, the day is finally here. Chicago is the most exciting city in the world right now. Growing up on the Southside and being there for the world series back in 2005, I have an idea of what the city is like today!

Today the future of teams rest in the hands of one single pick. These teams have had months and even years to scout these players. It all comes down to who makes the final decision. That person can make or break their franchise.

The Draft order goes as follows.

TampaBay- Jameis Winston

Tennessee – Marcus Mariota

Jacksonville – Leonard Williams

Oakland- Amari Cooper

Washington- Dante Fowler

I am only going to show the top 5. Cleveland is going to make a trade offer to Tennessee for the #2 pick so they can get Mariota. They are willing to give up 2 first round draft picks for this trade. This will be the worst move the Cleveland has EVER made in the draft. Here are the reason why.

1. You are picking up a qb that isn’t going to win you a single thing. Hello Cleveland!! How did the last 3 qbs you took in the draft work out for you?!? That Manzel pick was spot on! Not. You are getting the same thing in Mariota. Someone thats going to put people in the seats and sell jerseys. You dont want to win if you pick up Mariota. This guy is not worth 2 first round draft picks.

2.  Philip Rivers wants out of San Diego. Instead of giving up 2 first round picks, give Sandiego 1 and 2 second round for Rivers. You are going to get a veteran qb that has a proven winning record. He can run your system and coming into that team he will become the leader instantly. Most of them guys grew up watching him play. The level of respect and willingness to learn from him would be astounding.

3. If you want to win in Cleveland, you need to go get a VETERAN QUARTERBACK.. A rookie is not going to win you anything but the dissatisfaction of your fans. Dont make the ” Manzel Mistake” twice..

Remember Cleveland, this is not the movie.”Draft Day.” This is real and you do not have the luxury of trying to turn 1 first round pick into 2. This is the real world. Act like it today.
